Two archetypal black-hat/white-hat hackers recall their youthful dreams of crashing the "entire system" in an inexplicably quiet server room. By manipulating the perception of reality, a technological elite can control the world economy. The vision of a world with no more private property -- -- "think of it…no more rich people, no more poor people; everybody is the same!" -- is deemed "crazy."
