S1mone voice interface

by ccManager
Commentary summary:
Movie director Al Pacino uses voice commands to ventriloquize the perfect (female) digital human

Text Commentary:

In S1mone, the perfect (female) digital human is controlled with one-button keyboard commands, instantaneous motion capture and voice synthesis. Although Al Pacino is a non-technically oriented art film director, he is able to single-handedly deploy the most sophisticated system for computer generated imagery ever created to complete hybrid digital feature films starring an entirely digitally generated starlet of his own design. This sequence may be understood as a nightmare scenario within Hollywood anxieties about digital filmmaking, which obviates not only real-world movie stars but legions of union-affiliated production and post-production industry workers.
